What is the difference between regular cleaning and deep cleaning?
Regular cleaning maintains a property's day-to-day cleanliness — surfaces, floors and visible areas. Deep cleaning is more intensive and systematic, addressing accessible edges, fixtures, corners, neglected surfaces and areas that routine cleaning may not fully cover. It is particularly suited to properties that have not been thoroughly cleaned for some time, properties being prepared for new occupants, or properties following a period of heavy use.
What does deep cleaning include?
Our deep cleaning service covers high-level dusting, kitchen degreasing (including appliance interiors where agreed), bathroom descaling and disinfecting, all floors, skirting boards, door frames, window sills, accessible woodwork and a final quality inspection. The exact scope is agreed before the appointment.
How long does a deep clean take?
A one-bedroom property typically takes 4–6 hours. A three-bedroom property may take 7–10 hours. Duration depends on the property's size, condition and the agreed scope. We provide a time estimate when you book.
How much does deep cleaning cost in London?
Deep cleaning prices start from £180 for a 1-bedroom flat, £240 for a 2-bedroom flat, and £312 for a 3-bedroom property. For 4-bedroom and larger or luxury homes we provide a bespoke quote after a free viewing. End of tenancy cleaning starts from £216 for a 1-bed, £288 for a 2-bed and £360 for a 3-bed. Are appliances included in the deep clean?
Oven, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher interiors can be included where agreed and where the appliance is appropriately prepared (e.g. refrigerator emptied and defrosted). These are quoted separately as they add significant time to the appointment.
How should I prepare the property for a deep clean?
Clear personal items from surfaces where possible, empty the refrigerator if you want it cleaned internally, and ensure our team has clear access to all agreed rooms. If the property is furnished, we work around your belongings carefully.
What is not included in a standard deep clean?
Mould remediation, hazardous waste removal, pest treatment, specialist stone restoration, external windows and balconies are not standard deep cleaning tasks. These require separate assessment and specialist services. We will advise if we identify anything that falls outside the agreed scope.
